Poetry in the Kingdom of Love

Rachel Mann reads from and discusses the poems in her new collection, 'A Kingdom of Love'.

Many of the poems explore what it means to be an Anglican parish priest at work, at praise, in a world made complex by technology.

Poem after poem explores the nature of belief, the presence and absence of God, the rituals and reality of death, suffering and above all, love.

Praise for ‘A Kingdom of Love’:

'A Kingdom of Love is a hard-won book of wonders … a mesmerising debut’ - Michael Symmons Roberts

Praise for Rachel Mann’s writing:

‘Lucid and stimulating’ - The Times Literary Supplement

‘Exceptional … searching and original’ - Rowan Williams
